The first thing going in our mind when we visit any site is how to make safe our data and privacy.
We share there pictures and videos as they are the part of our conversation that make it better.
Afterthat, we find the data shared there and if it is safe or not or if someone is going to misuse it.
On most sites it is found the user data are not kept private and sold for the revenue or profit of the very website but this might not be so digestible to the one who has been using their site. To provide your a better chat environment and security, some information is wisely collected and securely stored. Here is information on what types of personal information is recieved and collected while you visit and use SIKOCHAT, and how we safeguard them. We never sell your information to third parties.
Log Files
Log files are created every time a user registers in to the chatroom.These log files contain the time of login and the IP addresses of the user.
IP addresses are used n order to identify users and used in banning of spammers and abusers.
Cookies
Cookies are used to help you login to "SIKOCHAT" and to store some of your personal preferences when you visit the site.
Cookies are used to enhance your experience and in no way contain any of your sensitive personal information.
Cookies are used to personalise content and ads, to provide social media features and to analyse our traffic.
We also share information about your use of our site with our social media, advertising and analytics partners who may combine it with other information that you’ve provided to them or that they’ve collected from your use of their services.
Privacy Notes:
Private Chat
The chat between two people using the private chat system ensures that only the correct sender recieves the messages and in no way a third person can join or observe your conversations.
Your conversations and images you share within private chat are secure and absolutely safe.
Trash Logs
We always clear the media files and chat logs of our rooms. We don't keep any backups, it is impossible for us to recover any of your messages once they have been cleared.
Images
The images you share in the public chatroom is visible to everyone while the images you share in private chat are accessible to your chat partner only.
Your profile picture can be viewed by anyone.
Email Addresses
If you signup to SIKOCHAT, the email address that was provided during the registration process is saved to our database. This email is the only way to reserve your username and recover your password incase you forget it. The email address is not visible to the general public however, website administrators can see your email and assist you whenever you face any login problems.
Friend list and ignore list
We have the facility of friend list and ignore list both.
When you add your favorite people to your friend list, it becomes easy to organise all your contacts at the same place.
When you ignore someone, you can't see his messages any more. You both will be unable to see and message each other in private chat.
The ignored person will not be told that you have ignored them rather, you will just be invisible to them.
